Hopefully, the weather forecast sticks, and you all stay healthy to take advantage of another great day of competition tomorrow at EHS Track & Field Stadium against the amazing Allentown Central Catholic team! Please give them a warm welcome and help them find areas they need! It should be an enjoyable day outside, so let’s also keep up our TEAM SPIRIT not only for our team, but our fellow competitors. We all push each other to be better!
GOOD LUCK and see you tomorrow! Coach Kami will send out the line ups around 5:30 pm through remind, to make sure everyone is healthy and ready to compete! If you aren’t on remind, hop on.

Then we have a meet on Thursday against Whitehall, and the invitational on Saturday at Palisade’s High School! This is a TEAM invitational, so we will put our best foot forward. Top 4 are entered in individual events, and top 3 in field events!

GO HORNETS!!!!! #hornetpride

The winds have calmed down, and temperatures will be climbing (hopefully!)! Athletes are to arrive at the track by 10 am, and we will get started by 11 am this morning. Please welcome Hazleton’s strong and talented teams to our facility, and help them find their designated areas (restrooms, field house, throws area, etc)! Let’s take advantage of no rain, hail, sleet, snow, or 20 mph winds today for a competitive meet!!!!!

And a HUGE thank you to our first sponsor this season Spillman Farmer Architects!!!

We get the opportunity to compete against a very strong Freedom High School on Wednesday 3/30/22 at 3:30pm!!! We will be bringing the tent (with sides) so athletes can go to a place where it’s somewhat warm. Avoid putting your belongings in the tent please, so there is enough room for athletes. The van is all packed up with equipment and our Track & Field med kit. DRESS WARM, hats and gloves, and blankets just to be safe! Fuel and Hydrate! Visualize what you would like to happen in your competition/events! Think positive, but also realize this is just the start, and we already know we have much more work to do! Timeline/schedule sent through remind. Line ups posted but we will post again tomorrow at the meet. Let’s GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Hornets!!!!!

School dismissal: 1:45 pm
Bus departs 2:00 pm

Despite sunshine and nice temps ahead next week, our winter weather wanted to make one more stop! So, enjoy the snow day tomorrow, and rest up for next week!
