I will be sending out a google form to those who attend one of the meetings next week to sign up for practices. Students will be placed into pods within their primary event group. We will all be training together, but in separate locations around the track/throwing area/turf area. Most practices will only last 1 hour. We are training for the “Jingle Bell intersquad competition (I found the bells!!!),” scheduled for Monday Dec 21.
I know it’s a lot of information, so please don’t hesitate to ask any questions,
Winter Track information and schedule will be emailed out this evening! I was waiting for the school board meeting to occur, and further guidance from our athletic/activities office .
Be smart and stay safe!
SPIRIT WEAR ONLINE STORE:
After 6 long and wild months, It brings me much joy to update this website and share information regarding return to Emmaus Track and Field! Winter track sign-ups are now OPEN! Here are the easy steps for you to be part:
1. Please fill out the google form by October 31
2. By November 9, I will send out practice information including dates and times, based on the responses. We will be training outside at the EHS track and field stadium, enjoying the newly surfaced track and turf.
3. I will then send out paperwork and zoom meetings that will be due and need to take place prior to the first day of practice, which is Wednesday Dec. 2, 2020. This information will include recent COVID information and return to sports plan. I will be sure to include plenty of opportunities for students and parents to join.
4. Keep checking this website prior to the start of practice, as it is the primary means of communication for Emmaus Track and Field. Click on the appropriate tabs for more information.
Look forward to seeing everyone soon!
Per the Governor’s order to close school for the next 2 weeks, high school athletics will follow as well.
Although my heart breaks for our team and all other spring sports teams, we know this is best for all to be healthy! Take advantage of fresh air, as you can still go for a run and/or follow any of the workouts you have learned on your own. As always, I’m available by remind text or email if you have any questions. email@example.com
It’s been a great 2 weeks of training, with warmer temps and stellar attendance by the team. We appreciate your hard work and dedication!
